Honda Generators, Now Sold & Serviced in Stuart
Every hurricane season on the Treasure Coast ends the same way for somebody: a dark house, a warm fridge, and a cheap generator that won’t start — or one that sounds like a leaf blower at 2 a.m. That’s why we added Honda Power Equipment to WMR.
Honda’s EU Series fixes all three problems. They start. They’re quiet enough to run overnight without waking the street — every model runs between 42 and 58 dB(A), less noise than a normal conversation. And Honda’s inverter technology makes clean, stable power that’s safe for laptops, TVs and modern appliances with electronic controls.
WMR Competition Performance has served riders across the Southeast from Stuart since 1999, and we hold power equipment to the same standard as the race bikes we build. Every Honda generator we sell is uncrated, serviced and start-tested by our technicians before it leaves the building, and warranty work happens right here — not in a box shipped across the country. Shop the whole lineup in our EU Series Super Quiet Inverter collection, or keep reading for the model-by-model breakdown.

Honda EU Series Specs, Side by Side
Every EU Series generator is a 120V (or 120/240V) inverter with Honda’s CO-MINDER™ carbon monoxide shutoff, Eco Throttle® and a 3-year residential warranty. Here’s where they differ.

Honda EU1000iSmall, Light & Whisper-Quiet
At 28.7 lb, the EU1000i is the one you grab with one hand. It’s also the quietest generator in the EU Series — just 42 dB(A) at quarter load — and it runs up to 6.8 hours on a little over half a gallon of fuel. That’s the right amount of power for lights, a portable fan, a TV, a laptop, a coffee maker or a small microwave (up to 650 watts).
What it won’t do is run a refrigerator or a hair dryer — step up to the EU2200i for that. But for a weekend of camping at Jonathan Dickinson, a tailgate, or keeping devices charged and a fan moving when the lights go out, nothing in the lineup is easier to live with. Need more later? Two EU1000i units parallel for up to 2,000 watts.

Honda EU2200iThe One Most People Should Start With
If you only buy one Honda generator, this is usually the one. The EU2200i makes 2,200 watts max and 1,800 rated from Honda’s commercial-grade GXR120 engine, weighs 47.4 lb, and runs 3.2 to 8.1 hours on less than a gallon of fuel. It’ll run a refrigerator, a microwave, a coffee maker, lights and fans — not all at the same moment, but in rotation, which is how a real outage works anyway.
It’s also the most flexible model in the lineup. Pair two with a parallel cable for up to 4,400 watts, monitor it (and shut it off) from your phone with Honda’s My Generator Bluetooth app, and let CO-MINDER™ shut it down automatically if carbon monoxide builds up near the unit. It’s quiet enough for the pits on race day, too — check our Florida riding areas directory for where to put it to work.

Honda EU2200i CompanionBuilt for RVs & Parallel Power
Same GXR120 engine, same 2,200 watts, same 47.4 lb as the standard EU2200i. The difference is on the panel: the Companion adds a 30A locking receptacle next to its 20A outlet. That 30A outlet does two jobs — it connects to an RV with an optional adapter, and it lets you parallel a second EU2200i with a simple parallel cord instead of a separate parallel kit.
The setup a lot of RV owners land on is one EU2200i plus one Companion. Paralleled, you get up to 4,400 watts — more peak power than a single EU3000iS — split into two 47-lb units you can actually lift into a truck bed. On trips that need less, take one and leave the other home. The Companion also parallels with EU2000i K1/T1 models, so it can team up with an older Honda you already own.

Honda EU3000iSElectric Start & Nearly 20 Hours a Tank
The EU3000iS is the marathon runner. Its 3.4-gallon tank delivers 6.9 hours at rated load and 19.6 hours at quarter load — the longest run time in the EU Series, and the best answer to “how often am I going out in the rain to refuel?” Push-button electric start (with recoil backup) means anyone in the house can fire it up.
With 3,000 watts max and 2,800 rated, it’ll run most 13,500 BTU RV air conditioners, or a fridge, microwave, lights and fans at home. The trade-off is size: at 130.7 lb it’s a two-person lift, which is why Honda offers 2- and 4-wheel kits for it. Need more output? Two EU3000iS units parallel with an optional cable.

Honda EU3200i3,200 Watts Under 60 Pounds
Honda calls the EU3200i the lightest, most compact 3000-watt series generator it has ever made, and at 59.1 lb it weighs less than half what the EU3000iS does. It makes 3,200 watts max and 2,600 rated from a fuel-injected GX130 engine — no choke, just switch it on and pull — and it’s built to run a 13,500 BTU RV air conditioner, a fridge, a microwave and more.
Front-panel LED indicators show fuel level and Eco Throttle® status at a glance, and the My Generator Bluetooth app puts the same information on your phone. If you want RV air-conditioning power that one person can load into a truck, this is the one to look at.

EU3000iS vs. EU3200i: Which 3000-Class Honda?
This is the comparison we get asked about most. The EU3200i has the bigger peak number, but the EU3000iS actually makes more sustained power and runs more than twice as long per tank. The EU3200i wins on weight by a mile.

Honda EU7000iS120/240V Power for the Whole House
This is the big one. The EU7000iS makes 7,000 watts max and 5,500 rated at 120/240V from a fuel-injected Honda GX390, and it’s still a true inverter — clean power for electronics at a quiet 52–58 dB(A). Its 5.1-gallon tank runs 6.4 to 16 hours, starting is push-button electric, and the My Generator app adds wireless start and stop from your phone.
The 240V output is what sets it apart from everything else here. With a transfer switch installed by a licensed electrician, the EU7000iS can feed your home’s circuits — including 240V equipment like many well pumps — which is what most Treasure Coast homeowners actually want when the power is out for days, not hours. Wheels and folding handles come standard, and two units can be paralleled with Honda’s optional kit for up to 14,000 watts.

Hurricane Season Prep for Treasure Coast Homes
Atlantic hurricane season runs June 1 through November 30. The worst time to buy a generator is the two days before a storm, when shelves are empty and whatever is left has never been started. Buy early, test it, and set it up right:
For a complete storm-kit checklist, see the Florida Division of Emergency Management’s Plan & Prepare guide.
Warning: Operating a generator indoors can kill you in minutes. Generator exhaust contains carbon monoxide. Never run a generator inside a home, garage, basement, crawlspace or any enclosed or partly enclosed area. See the owner’s manual for complete safety information.
