2027 Husqvarna TE 300 Pro: The Bike You'd Have Built Anyway

Every hard enduro rider who buys a two-stroke off our floor does the same thing within a week — hands it back to the service department with a list.

Skid plate. Frame protectors. Disc guards. Better grips. Stronger wheels. It's the same list every time, and it costs money and shop time on top of a brand-new motorcycle. The 2027 Husqvarna TE 300 Pro is Husqvarna's answer to that list: the bike shows up with the parts already on it, in a white-frame Pro paint scheme you can spot across a parking lot.

We're an authorized Husqvarna dealer in Stuart, Florida, and we've been through enough seasons of TE 300s to know what actually breaks and what actually matters. Here's an honest look at what the Pro model is, what's on it, and who should be buying one.

What Separates the Pro From a Standard TE 300

The foundation is the same proven enduro platform: chromium-molybdenum steel double-cradle frame, WP XACT suspension front and rear, 293.2 cc fuel-injected two-stroke. Nothing exotic, and that's the point — it's a package Husqvarna has refined over a lot of race seasons.

What the Pro adds is a curated stack of Technical Accessories and its own look. Instead of the standard blue-and-yellow treatment, you get a white frame, white and gray bodywork, a gray ribbed seat cover and white Factory Frame Protectors. It's a clean bike. It also stops looking clean about four minutes into a real ride, which is the whole idea.

The 293 cc Two-Stroke: EFI, No Premix, No Fussing

The engine is a single-cylinder two-stroke with a 72 mm bore and 72 mm stroke, running Keihin EFI through a 39 mm throttle body with Vitesco Technologies engine management. Oil injection is electronically regulated, so there's no mixing fuel in the back of the truck at 6 a.m. Electric start with a lithium-ion battery, six-speed gearbox, and Electronic Exhaust Control managing the powervalve.

Power delivery is handled by a handlebar-mounted Map Select Switch. There are two maps — a mellow setting and an aggressive one — and you can flip between them without stopping. In Florida terms: mellow when the sand is deep and greasy and you want traction, aggressive when you're on hardpack or trying to loft the front over something.

Clutch is the DDS wet multi-disc unit with Brembo hydraulics, which matters more than it sounds like it should. In slow technical riding you're on the clutch constantly, and a hydraulic Brembo setup holds its lever feel when the engine is hot and you're not moving fast enough to cool anything.

WP XACT Closed Cartridge Forks — The Big One

The Pro runs WP XACT Closed Cartridge USD forks at 48 mm, with base valve preload adjusters, matched to a WP XACT monoshock with linkage. Travel is 300 mm at both ends.

Closed cartridge is the upgrade riders notice first. A sealed cartridge keeps oil aeration under control, which means the fork behaves the same on hour three as it did on hour one. If you've ever had a fork go vague halfway through a long, chattery loop, that's what this design is fighting. Front adjustment is compression and rebound; the rear gives you preload, high- and low-speed compression, and rebound.

One thing we'll say as a shop: stock valving is a compromise built for an average rider on average terrain. If you're heavier, lighter, or faster than average, a revalve is the single best money you'll spend on this bike. Our WMR Suspension department does this work in-house and we can have it sorted before you ever take delivery.

The Parts List: What's Already Bolted On

This is where the Pro earns its name. The accessory package isn't a graphics kit and a bar pad — it's the stuff that keeps a bike alive in real enduro conditions.

  • Factory Racing Wheel Set — high-strength EXCEL Takasago rims, black spokes, CNC-machined hubs
  • GALFER brake discs — floating front, solid rear, with a rear brake safety wire
  • Front and rear disc guards, plus clutch slave cylinder protection
  • Factory skid plate with integrated linkage protection
  • SUPERSPROX Stealth rear sprocket in black
  • White Factory Frame Protector Set for grip with your legs
  • Soft-compound ODI lock-on grips in gray, plus an Enduro Pro bar pad
  • Gray ribbed seat cover and a front pull strap

The pull strap and the linkage protection are the two that tell you Husqvarna's product people actually ride. You need the strap the first time a hill beats you and a buddy has to drag the front end up. You need the linkage guard the first time you find a rock you didn't see.

Two numbers worth sitting with: 238.7 lb without fuel, and 13.9 inches of ground clearance. That combination is why a 300 two-stroke still wins hard enduros against bikes with a lot more horsepower. You can pick it up. You can drag it. You can clear things you have no business clearing.

The 37.4-inch seat height is real, though, and it's the one thing we tell shorter riders to come sit on before they commit. Stop by the showroom — it's a five-minute conversation and it saves people a lot of second-guessing.

Who Should Buy One

The TE 300 Pro makes the most sense for the rider who already knows they want a 300 two-stroke and has stopped pretending they're going to leave it stock. If you race hard enduro, ride extreme terrain, or spend your weekends in Florida sand and roots, the accessory package matches what you'd buy anyway — and you get it with the bike instead of in four separate boxes over three months.

It's also a strong pick for the rider stepping up from a trail bike who wants durability built in from day one. Frame protectors and a proper skid plate turn a lot of expensive mistakes into scratches.

Where we'd point you elsewhere: if you need a plated, street-legal machine, this isn't it — the Pro is sold for closed-course competition use. Give us a call and we'll walk you through the Husqvarna enduro lineup and find the right fit.
